I am a graphic designer, a longboarder and also very into TV, movies and gaming. Like most graphic designers, design filters all aspects of my life.

 

I found that, in browsing longboard websites, that the majority of decks (the main wooden part you stand on) were darkly themed, detailed illustrations.

 

I wanted to create clean, type-centric longboard graphics that catered to, well,

me –a designer who enjoys minimalism, typography and somewhat nerdy things.

I wanted to do all of this without alienating non-designers or people who perhaps haven’t watched the same television shows or movies as I have.
